Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen/Restaurant Assistant to join our team in New Milton. Your role will be essential in providing exceptional dining experiences during peak hours, as you assist with food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation: Assisting in the preparation of a diverse range of delicious dishes, maintaining high standards of quality, and following food safety guidelines.
2. Customer Service: Delivering outstanding service by attending to patrons' inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring a delightful dining experience for all customers.
3. Table Maintenance: Setting up tables, replenishing supplies, and ensuring a clean and inviting dining area.
4. Collaboration: Working seamlessly with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
5. Flexibility: Embracing a rotating schedule to ensure a healthy work-life balance for all team members.
6. Cleanliness and Hygiene: Upholding strict cleanliness and hygiene standards to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for both staff and patrons.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour.
- Ability to work well under pressure and efficiently handle peak hours.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
